Refund Policy

At Vinyl Wrapping Australia, we strive to provide high-quality vehicle-grade vinyl wrap, tools, and products. We understand that situations may arise where a refund is necessary. Please review our refund policy carefully to understand the conditions and procedures for requesting a refund.

Eligibility for Refunds

  • Refunds are only applicable to unused and undamaged Vinyl Wrapping Australia products.

  • We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for vinyl wrap that has been cut, unpeeled, heat applied, installed, damaged, or altered in any way after delivery.

  • Refund requests must be initiated within 21 days from the date of purchase.

Return Process

  1. If eligible for a refund, contact our customer support team at info@vinylwrappingaustralia.com to begin the return process.

  2. The customer is responsible for covering the cost of return shipping.

  3. Vinyl Wrapping Australia will provide a shipping label that must be securely attached to the original packaging.

Refund Processing

  • Once we receive the returned product in its original condition and packaging, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed within 3 to 5 business days and issued in the original payment method.

  • Credit card refunds will be credited to the same card used during purchase.

  • If the order has been processed the refund/return process will incur a restocking fee of $20.00 AUD. 

Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

  • Customized vinyl wrap orders that have been specially made or tailored to your specifications.

  • Shipping and handling charges incurred during the initial purchase.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please follow the return process, and once refunded, place a new order for the desired product.

Damaged or Lost Orders During Shipping

If your order is lost or arrives damaged, we will assist you in resolving the issue. However, we must follow the shipping company’s claim process, which has been known to take anywhere from 2 weeks up to 5 months.

Steps to Follow for Damaged Orders:

  1. If the package appears damaged upon arrival, notify the delivery person and make a note on the shipping receipt.

  2. Take clear photographs of the damaged package and contents.

  3. Contact our customer support team as soon as possible and provide the necessary details, including photographs.

Steps to Follow for Lost Orders:

  1. If your order does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, inform us promptly.

  2. We will initiate an investigation with the shipping company.

  3. Once the claim is approved, we will offer either a refund or replacement at our discretion.

Please note: Refund or replacement eligibility depends on following proper procedures with the shipping company and completing the claim process.

Manufacturer's Warranty

Vinyl Wrapping Australia (“the distributor”) provides the following manufacturing warranty for the products it distributes and sells.

Warranty Coverage

  1. The Manufacturer warrants that the Products, when used and installed according to the Manufacturer's guidelines, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase.

  2. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Warranty Claims

  1. To initiate a claim, the customer must provide written notification to Vinyl Wrapping Australia, detailing the defect and proof of purchase.

  2. The distributor may require the customer to return the defective product or provide photographs for assessment.

  3. The Manufacturer reserves the right to inspect the defect in person or through a representative.

Warranty Remedies

If a valid warranty claim is determined, the Manufacturer will, at its discretion:

  • Replace the defective product with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater value, OR

  • Refund the original purchase price of the defective product.

Note: This warranty does not cover labor, removal, or installation costs.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by:

  • Improper installation or application.

  • Failure to follow Manufacturer’s guidelines.

  • Normal wear and tear, including fading, discoloration, or weather-related degradation.

  • Accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from product use.

General Provisions

  1. This warranty constitutes the entire agreement between the Manufacturer and the Customer and supersedes all prior understandings.

  2. Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.

  3. In the event of a dispute, both parties shall attempt good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, legal action may be pursued as provided by law.
