INSTALLATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
VINYL WRAPPING AUSTRALIA – WRAP INSTALLATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Pre-Installation Requirements
-
Vehicles must arrive clean.
We’ll advise you of the required level of cleanliness at the time of booking.
Excess dirt, bugs, grime, or poor preparation may delay installation and may incur additional cleaning fees. -
Previously waxed vehicles must be fully de-waxed before wrapping.
If required, we can de-wax the vehicle at an additional cost. -
Existing wraps must be removed prior to installation.
We can de-wrap your vehicle if needed (additional cost). -
Please disclose any re-spray or repair work.
Repainted panels are at a higher risk of paint or clear-coat lifting during both installation and removal.
While we take every precaution, paint lifting on resprayed areas cannot be guaranteed. -
Some minor imperfections may be visible in deep contours or tight body lines.
While we aim for seamless installs, zero overlap cannot be guaranteed on all panels. -
Deposits are non-refundable.
Your deposit secures installation time, workshop allocation, and material ordering.
We will always do our best to reschedule if authorised changes or cancellations occur. -
We will inspect for rust, failing clear coat, or problem areas.
Wraps do not adhere well to compromised surfaces, and adhesion failure in these areas is not covered under warranty.
Any required putty or panel preparation is an additional cost. -
Matte plastic trims, aftermarket body kits, and textured surfaces do not bond as strongly as painted surfaces.
Some items may require a clear-coat or adhesion promoter which may increase the cost. -
If the vehicle has been in an accident, we are not liable for issues with hidden electrical components, sensors, or fragile repaired areas.
-
Quotes do not include:
-
De-wrapping
-
Bodywork or putty repairs
-
Panel beating
Unless otherwise stated.
-
-
Prices may vary if the vehicle is not seen in person before quoting.
We offer free onsite consultation for accurate assessment. -
Typical wrap lifespan:
-
1 year average
-
2–3 years with proper care and maintenance
(Ask us how to get the most life out of your wrap.)
-
-
Timeframes:
Please allow a minimum of 4–5 days for a full wrap.
Complex vehicles, multi-colour designs, or poor paint condition may extend this timeframe.
We do not rush jobs as it compromises quality.
During Installation / Removal
-
Paint lifting can occur during installation—especially on resprayed or previously repaired panels.
We take exceptional care, but cannot guarantee paint integrity on non-factory paint. -
During removal, the same risk applies.
Repainted vehicles have a significantly higher chance of paint or clear coat lifting.
We will remove wraps with care, but we do not guarantee paint condition.
Post-Installation Care
-
Hand wash only.
No pressure washing under any circumstances—this voids warranty on affected areas.
If we suspect pressure washer damage, repair work may be chargeable. -
Do not attempt to remove the wrap yourself.
Always contact us to avoid paint damage. -
Small lifting in inverted or deep contour areas may occur over time.
For the first 6 months, we offer free touch-ups on minor lifting.
Adhesion promoter is used on these areas, but full elimination of lift is not guaranteed. -
Important note:
Vinyl wrap is not paint.
Small imperfections in gaps, edges, body lines, or the occasional dust particle under the film are within industry-standard expectations.
If you have concerns, we are happy to walk you through what to expect before installation.
