Fraud Prevention & Order Verification Policy

At Vinyl Wrapping Australia (VWA), we take fraud prevention and customer security seriously. To help protect both our business and legitimate customers from fraudulent transactions, scams, and chargebacks, we reserve the right to request additional verification for certain orders.

Orders Over $5,000 AUD

For any order exceeding $5,000 AUD, VWA may request additional customer information to confirm the legitimacy of the transaction before the order is processed, shipped, or collected.

Verification documents may include, but are not limited to:

  • Australian Driver Licence or other government-issued photo identification
  • Verification of the bank card used for payment
  • Proof of billing address
  • Business registration details (if applicable)
  • Additional supporting documentation reasonably required to verify the order

Billing & Shipping Address Verification

To assist in fraud prevention, VWA may require the billing address and shipping address to match for high-value transactions. Orders flagged as high risk, mismatched, or suspicious may be delayed pending further verification.

VWA reserves the right to refuse shipment to freight forwarders, reshipping locations, parcel lockers, or addresses identified as high risk.

Signature on Delivery

Orders deemed high value or high risk may require signature confirmation upon delivery. This requirement helps confirm successful delivery to the authorised recipient and assists in protecting both VWA and the customer from fraudulent claims or chargebacks.

Preferred Payment Methods for High-Value Orders

For certain high-value wholesale or commercial transactions, VWA may request payment via bank transfer or other verified payment methods before processing the order.

VWA reserves the right to decline or refund payments made through payment methods considered high risk for a particular transaction.

Purpose of Verification

These verification measures are used solely for:

  • Fraud prevention
  • Chargeback protection
  • Identity verification
  • Protection of legitimate cardholders and customers
  • Ensuring secure processing of high-value transactions

Failure to Provide Verification

If requested verification information is not provided within a reasonable timeframe, VWA reserves the right to:

  • Delay processing of the order
  • Cancel the transaction
  • Refund the payment to the original payment method
  • Refuse future transactions where fraud concerns are identified

Privacy & Security

Any information provided for verification purposes will be handled securely and used only for fraud prevention and transaction verification purposes in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.

VWA reserves the right to redact, securely store, or securely destroy verification documents as required for compliance and fraud prevention processes.

Suspicious Activity

VWA reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold any order that is suspected to involve:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Unauthorised payment methods
  • Identity theft
  • Reshipping scams
  • Chargeback abuse
  • Any activity deemed suspicious or unlawful

By placing an order with Vinyl Wrapping Australia, the customer agrees to comply with this verification process where applicable.
